Student Art Show

April 14 – May 10, 2009 —

During four weeks in spring, the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA) is especially festive with artwork created by the next generation of artists. Budding artists in the Kearney Public Schools, Kearney Catholic High School, and the school districts in Buffalo County and Kearney County show their work, selected by their art teachers, in MONA’s grand East Gallery. The MONA Guild’s Education Committee assists with hosting the over 1,200 people who attend these receptions.

The Student Art Show is supported in part by the Kearney Artists Guild, which joins MONA in congratulating the students and offering encouragement of their artistic talents
