Our association with wood as a source of artistic inspiration and a medium of expression is immeasurable. Through myth we think of trees as our “guardians of memory” and of wood as a renewable organic living material. Wood embodies the relationship between human design and natural form. This exhibition explores the range of techniques and outcomes made possible by the flexibility, identity, and beauty of wood.
