Raymond Schultze was born in 1934 in York, Nebraska. He received his BFA from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and his MFA from the University of Colorado. Since 1965, Schultze has worked as Assistant Art Professor at Kearney State College and his interest lies in the areas of sculpture and glass. Schultze creates delicate balanced pieces that range from functional to abstract. His work has been exhibited in international, national, regional, and local art shows; many of his pieces are in private collections throughout the Midwest and in California.
