Marjorie Siemon, born October 4, 1917 in Leavenworth, Kansas, graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas in 1935. After completing her studies at the Kansas City Business School, she lived in Kansas City and then Omaha, Nebraska as a homemaker and artist. She later worked for the Omaha-Douglas County Health Department and was active in the Omaha Associated Artists Club.

In 1981 she moved to Grand Island, Nebraska where she became involved with both the Grand Island Sketch Club and the Prairie Winds Art Center. One of her paintings was chosen for the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company and Nebraska Public Power District calendars. She died in her early 90s in Grand Island.
