Susan Knight was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended many schools including the University of Notre Dame, the Glassell School of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and St. Mary’s College where she received her BFA. She has worked as a retail advertiser, commercial artist, and curitorial assistant at Joslyn’s Art Museum in Omaha. Knight now maintains a studio in Omaha where she works on oil and mixed media pieces that contain her personal iconography of figurative images seated and in chairs.
