Artist’s Statement

“I am an artist all day, everyday. For me there is little choice…Art expresses meaning and purpose in life where other ways cannot. My subject is the figure, the human personna, placed in context with a time and a place. Generally, I work to depict universal aspects of the human character and spirit…and the profound beauty of individual conditions of human existence.”
