MONA Art Workshop: Dances of the Cranes with Susan Hart at Rowe Sanctuary

Embrace your artistic side with Rowe Sanctuary and the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA)! Join us for a study in the junction between art and nature in a variety of media with wonderful guest instructors.
Celebrate the dance of the crane by learning to create a simple Nebraska landscape background with pastel chalk. Top it with an abstract crane using paint and a craft feather!
About the Artist:
Susan Hart grew up in Gibbon, Nebraska and now resides in rural Cozad, Nebraska with her husband Jim. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in art education from Kearney State College, Kearney, Nebraska in 1981. Susan taught art for 17 years in Nebraska Dawson County rural schools, and continues to teach children’s workshops for the Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney, Nebraska as well as workshops for adults in collage and mixed media. In addition to being in private and corporate collections, Hart’s paintings are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Nebraska Art, Doane University, and York College.
