MONA Galleries
How can visual art inspire writing? How can writing enhance the way we see? Join Dorothy Miller, retired English and creative writing teacher, to help answer these and other questions by exploring the connections between art, the observer, and the written word. Participants will experiment with different creative writing genres while engaging in close observations of selected artwork, imaginative responses to writing prompts, and shared discussions.
All skill levels are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook and preferred writing tools. Stools will be provided by MONA. No prior experience with art, art history, or writing is required.
Limited to 15 participants
Open to individuals ages 15 and up
