This first comprehensive survey documents the artwork of African American artists with ties to Nebraska. Providing an opportunity for broader awareness of the history of Nebraska, the exhibition also aims to create a deeper understanding of the power of art for personal expression and interpersonal connection between people of diverse backgrounds.
