Throughout her long career, Lincoln painter Anne Burkholder is well known for depicting the Nebraska landscape, drawing on her experience of growing up in the Sandhills. In this series, she again focuses on roads, fields, and the sky, yet with a twist as she brings to the viewer scenes of the land in twilight and evening.
