Artist Biography
After earning her BFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1975 and an MFA degree from The Ohio State University, Barbara Kendrick continued her art career at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, where she taught for twenty years in the School of Art and Design. As an active artist, she has exhibited across the United States, England, France, and Greece and enjoyed various national and international residencies and awards.
A dedicated teacher and supporter of the arts, Kendrick’s print Partly Cloudy II was included in The First Suite Print Portfolio, an artist-driven fundraising effort to support the purchase of a new printmaking press for her alma mater, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
